The Lucas Terrier Club has been in existence since 1986 (previously as the Lucas Terrier Society). It was set up by a small number of Lucas owners as an informal group for the purposes of keeping the breed going and as an information service to those who were interested in either breeding from their bitch or finding a puppy. Lucas terrier puppies are never advertised on the internet, through magazines/newspapers or in shop windows. Puppies purporting to be Lucas terriers may be sold using these means and those looking for a puppy should exercise caution if the puppy has not been offered to them via the Lucas Terrier Club.
By surfing through the pages below it is hoped that you will find all the information you could possibly need on the Lucas - who started the breed, its development, lots of photos and the process for acquiring one.
If you have a question that is not answered here then please e-mail me, Pamela Harrow, Secretary.
